The 6th graders of Healy Elementary have been hard at work collaborating with The Do Good Movement program and World Wildlife Fund to create a service project or also known as, The Do Good Movement's Kindness Karma Project, to help better the world in which they live. After a lot of discussion and voting, the students selected to create a project that would help the environment and the endangered animals in which they care so much about. Throughout the year the students have been doing research to learn more about ways that they can make an impact to better the planet and help save the wildlife. As the capstone to their project, they have created posters to encourage others to join them on the same day, Earth Day - April 22nd, to take action and help save the planet. The top 6 posters were created and voted on by the students to help bring awareness and educate others on how they can make a positive change in simple ways. Join us on April 22nd in our "take action" campaign and help the students make their Kindness Karma Project a success by taking these small steps to save our planet and our wildlife.
